I Read, I re-read

I Write, I read.
This is all I know.

I read books,
mostly fiction, and
it helps me understand people more.

Books and characters
take me on a journey.
Without moving a foot
or stepping out,
to Shire, New York,
the urban and the country.

Characters love me
and I love them back,
more than friends
’cause they don’t stab me in my back.

The motifs, the symbols,
the imagery, the themes…
These dimensions are fun
and make worth every read.

This journey of reading goes on and on
’cause I re-read and my thoughts move on and on
